He officially started his musical journey in 2014 upon the release of his debut single, titled "One For Me," as a solo artist. Ever since then, Turph Kako has been delivering a delightful blend of various music genres that have influenced him throughout his musical evolution.

He draws inspiration from a diverse range of artists, including Bob Marley, Damian Marley, Stephen Marley, Fela, Johnny Cash, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Nas, Jay-Z, Pharell, No-ID, 2 face, Drake, Wizkid, and Burnaboy, among others. Turph Kako recently released his debut EP titled "Heartbreak On A Full Moon", in which he skillfully blends African rhythms with the soulful essence of R&B. Since it's release, Turph Kako has debuted on BBC Introducing, Notion, We Speak Media, Flex Blog Music to name a few and has continued to break boundaries with this release.
